The Nature of Remote Control
Remote control requires a program to interact closely with the operating system in order to pick up screen information and deliver keyboard and mouse input. All has to be done so the PC, the operating system and the program(s) running are affected as little as possible. Danware strives to be able to remote control all PCs and all applications running operating systems supported by NetOp. However, we cannot guarantee that NetOp will remote control all existing and future PCs and applications.
Running Multiple Remote Control Software Packages
Remote control software programs are very similar in how they capture screen, keyboard and mouse I/O. This is done via hooks into these device drivers. Because of this, if you have two or more remote control software programs installed, you may experience lack of mouse/keyboard control, black screens, and/or GPFs. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, it is recommended that you un-install all but one remote control program for the duration of your testing, as this may well clear up any problems you are experiencing.
